80 GSM – The Gold Standard

Most high-quality Christmas wrapping paper, including the kind you'll find at Lokipawz, is around 80 GSM.  At Lokipawz we use 90 GSM.  Why?

- It’s thick enough to hold clean, crisp folds (hello, Pinterest-worthy presents!)

- It feels sturdy and professional in your hands

- It’s easy to handle—no battling with stiff edges or cracking corners

This weight strikes the perfect balance between durability and usability, making it ideal for all your holiday wrapping needs.

 

Below 80 GSM – Thin & Flimsy

Papers under 80 GSM (like the 55 GSM variety you might find in discount stores) can:

- Feel flimsy or cheap

- Tear easily while folding

- Struggle to hold shape around your gifts

They might be budget-friendly, but they often come at the cost of presentation—and frustration.

 

Above 100 GSM – Too Thick to Handle
